In the last six months I have spent working for Home-Mart, it has been fun watching people find a place they can call their own. Too often in our busy world, life does not give us a chance to catch our breath and enjoy our homes. With the last sixteen years of my life dedicated to sales, I have learned that people value honesty and integrity, which are two qualities I bring to Home-Mart sales.
In our busy lives, hearing the truth is what we all want, and the truth about Home-Mart is what I give to my customers-namely, that our houses are well built and long lasting structures adapted to the individual needs of our buyers. By receiving continual training, I keep myself abreast of the changing climate surrounding housing laws and ordinances, I always give my customers an honest appraisal of their personal ability to purchase a home.
My work here is about helping people find a place to live where they know they are safe and secure. Home-Mart is the place where those dreams become a reality, a place where I can listen and learn from my customers and continually help people find a place they can call "mine".

With the vast economic changes occurring in America today, it is vital that new home buyers take care to acquire homes that allow them to take advantage of every possible tax benefit possible. But tax breaks given to new buyers are not enough in today's world-home buyers deserve a quality home that is energy efficient and keeps their regular, ongoing bills low on a regular basis. I have spent over seventeen years working in the manufactured housing business working to make sure my customers are able to buy homes that provide continual benefits such as low heating and cooling costs as well as helping each customer receive the fullest benefit from current tax laws. My experiences have taught me that a company like Home-Mart provides excellent, affordable homes for a wide variety of customers-and that it is my job to make the right home easy to find, without the stress and worry some home buyers experience when they go out to buy a home.
Over the years in the manufactured housing industry, I have also learned the incredible value of listening to the customer and their individual needs. The home seekers we work with here at Home-Mart will tell you what they want, given the opportunity, and I work hard to let my customers make their voice heard. My prospective buyers know that I care about them not only as prospective buyers, but as real people who are doing their best to find a quality home for themselves and their family.
As I work to help people feel comfortable with our safely built houses, places where people can relax and enjoy their busy lives, I have enjoyed observing the upbeat energy and genuine enthusiasm of our sales staff. Selling houses is more than just putting a roof over people's heads; it's about giving customers a chance to make their dreams and reality merge. Selling houses requires staying updated with continual training and connecting with factory representatives, but it is more importantly about people. Treating people with kindness and respect is the only way to work in our world. I am grateful to be part of a sales team that knows how important your needs are and is vitally interested in meeting those concerns and expanding your home owning possibilities in a respectful and genuine manner.

In my years of service in the housing industry, I have learned that good homes are all about good construction. Having worked for many years in the housing and construction industry, I know that a quality home comes from attention to detail and, as a Home-Mart employee, I have seen first-hand the labor and attention our builders put into the homes we sell. It has been not been an easy journey for the manufactured housing industry, learning how to build better and better homes each year starting from the ground up, but my years of experience have shown that the homes we sell today meet the top quality standards of our customers while also continuing to meet and exceed the increasingly rigorous standards of the manufactured housing industry.
More importantly, however, is the fact that I believe home ownership is all about finding a well built place that meets your individual needs. As a father of three children myself, I know that a young family often needs a very different home than a couple whose children have left the nest and who are moving in a new direction. Thus, my greatest pleasure in working for Home-Mart is helping customers from all walks of life find a home that meets their unique, individual needs and dreams.
Selling homes is something I do to help families that upsize or downsize according to the direction of their lives, but it is also something I find rewarding on a personal level. I enjoy being able to learn about my clients and there is nothing quite like observing children when they see their new home for the first time. My primary goal in sales, a goal I have taken from my former customers, is to remember that "selling homes is not something I do, it's what happens to me while immersed in serving my customers."
As I work to help people feel comfortable with our quality houses, places where people can relax and enjoy their busy lives, I have enjoyed observing the integrity and kindness of our customers and sales staff. Selling houses here is more than just putting a roof over people's heads; it's about giving them a chance to move to the place in life where people want to be-a place where dreams and reality merge.
