Fred is a sales
counselor at Home-Mart, assisting the customer by making sure that every
customer gets the most for their money and leaves satisfied. "When
that happens, we know that we've done our job," Fred explains.
Home-Mart's
sales staff is fortunate to have access to the latest technology. "We
have our own computer and train on answering customer's questions,"
Fred says. In terms of training at Home-Mart, Fred cannot speak highly
enough of the investment and efforts made by the owner, Doug Gorman.
"Doug invests a great deal of time and money to assist myself and
our staff in providing excellent customer service, knowing our products
inside-and-out, and maintaining a motivated and positive attitude."

Home-Mart sales
staff members visit factories to learn more about the homes offered,
attend weekly sales meetings, and have access to presentations by nationally
known motivational speakers and their sales tools. Fred says, "Our
sales staff has every opportunity to be successful." And it's Home-Mart's
aggressive approach toward advertising that Fred believes brings the
customers in the door and gives people in Tulsa and the surrounding
areas the opportunity to become familiar with the company's name and
the integrity behind it.
"I'm proud
to be working as a sales counselor at Home-Mart," Fred boasts.
Home-Mart's sales staff experiences low turnover and Fred believes it
is because of the Home-Mart system that benefits both the customers
and the sales staff. He attributes the success of the company to the
open lot with many choices of home and the "Open Doors, Posted
Prices," philosophy which makes it easy to "browse" at
Home-Mart. "We can be as active in the search of a home as our
customers would like for us to be," Fred concludes, "and that's
just how it should be."
